The VTMIS equipment is distributed among more than 30 coastal sites along the Bulgarian coast. Owing to the introduction of the VTMIS, the entire Bulgarian offshore area is monitored and controlled at distances of up to 50 nautical miles. VTMS, reflecting the most modern ideas in the creation of complex maritime safety systems, intended to be used for the benefit of Maritime Administrations, Border Police, Fishing Authorities and commercial companies.
